Multi-purpose Oils

It’s been a little while since my last post, but I’m hoping to get into the swing of things soon.

I’ve been really getting into multi-use products as of late, as I tend to hoard lots of products that only really have one initial purpose (and are not that brilliant either). Oils are brilliant for this – they can be used as make-up removers, hair oils, facial or body moisturisers and MANY other things. For example, lavender oil can be used on your pillow to aid relaxation if you suffer from insomnia. The best thing about them is that most of them are SO cheap and suitable for all skin types.

The six below are my favourite ones I have discovered so far and were all well under £10 each:

Some Recent Purchases

So, I went shopping…again.

I got a couple of things which I really wanted to try and one (novelty) item.

SDC12019 (3)

The first thing I got was a Pacifica Solid Perfume in ‘Mediterranean Fig’. This was £2.25 from Tesco in the clearance beauty section. Tesco are really upping their game in the beauty department at the moment. They stock so many different brands now, from well-known to independent. I thought this would be perfect for travelling and it is worth noting that this brand is vegan/100% natural.

The next item I got was Rosehip Plus Pure and Natural Rosehip Oil. I’ve been wanting to try rosehip oil for so long but the only ones I could find were unjustifiably expensive to me (Trilogy’s version is £16.50 for 20ml @ Boots). This, however, was £7.99 for 30ml from TK Maxx. I’m hoping this will be just as good as more expensive versions.

The final item was this bag I also got from TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago. I just couldn’t resist his little face. He was £11 (from £14.99) and is by a brand called Long & Sons which I’ve never heard of. There was also an owl version but I decided on this one instead. The bag is quite small, though – I can fit only my purse, keys and maybe a pack of tissues, but not my phone. As I like to carry my phone around separately anyway, this isn’t an issue.
